We recently obtained some ring and base screw specs from Leupold: base screws 14 in/lbs, ring screws, 15-17 in/lbs, and 45 in/lbs on the windage screw, 65 in/lbs on the cross bolt for the Mk IV ring.

    Leupold recommends approx 17 in-lb on ring screws for their scopes. I have seen forum posts where people had scope issues (adjustment/click reliability and precision) with overtightened rings. DNZ website for their game reaper mount says to go 30 in-lbs because their rings are machined true and need more torque than other rings to hold scopes.

    The finish of these rings matches my rifle, semi gloss. These rings are very durable (all metal) and made in the USA. I used the rings to mount a Barska Colorado Scope and it works great. The only complaint I have about these rings (and I knew this when I purchased them) is I wish the screws for tightening the rings were a little bigger.
