Diesels are much more expensive to maintain---filters (both air and fuel) injectors, glow plugs etc. Diesel fuel costs more per gal to buy plus you have to buy the "blue fluid". Sit down and do the math. Unless you need the daily power of a diesel it will take you a long time (if ever) to recover the cost of the optional diesel.

    And yeah I definitely have to agree the 6.0 is FAR more fun to drive than the 7.3. And be being a hot rod kinda guy driving a slow truck just isn't any fun IMO.
